Deserving undergraduate and graduate students in the Curriculum & Instruction department pursuing a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, who are currently teaching in a non-charter public school.
Applicant must submit proof of employment
Must maintain at least a 3.0 GPA
Must submit an essay describing your ideal classroom and teaching methods, and why public school education is important to you.
Must write a thank you letter to Dr. Jill Bardwell which includes career plans.
Failure to meet the requirements of this scholarships may cause scholarship to be revoked.
This scholarship may entitle an out of state resident to the Non-Resident Tuition Exemption as outlined by the Texas A&M University-Commerce Policy on Non-Resident Tuition Exemption for Competitive Scholarship Recipients.
