Wilfred & Bobbie Dietrich

Mr. and Mrs. Dietrich completed their doctoral work at A&M-Commerce during the summers of 1971-1978. Bobbie got her degree in drama and speech and taught for 40 years. Wilfred earned his degree in English and curriculum and taught for 58 years. Mr. Dietrich taught at County Line School, Burton High School and Blinn College. He was published in several professional articles and involved in many Washington County committees.

Their philosophy is “Education is the answer to all of our problems in the world.” Through their worldly travels, Mr. and Mrs. Dietrich came to the conclusion that we are linked in teaching our young people, which led them to establish scholarships at 5 different universities including Howard Payne, Sam Houston, Texas Lutheran, University of Texas and A&M-Commerce.
