Mike Elick Memorial Award

  • Music major at Texas A&M University – Commerce for the year in which the award is granted.
  • Recipient should demonstrate symphonic possibilities.
  • Recipient should demonstrate scholarly ability to complete a creditable academic record for music majors.
  • Student in greatest financial need with all other factors being equal.
  • It is possible for the same student to retain the scholarship for two to four successive years, four years being the maximum.
  • Recipient’s name can be published as a scholarship recipient via e-mail and newspapers.
  • Failure to meet the requirements of this scholarships may cause scholarship to be revoked.
  • This scholarship may entitle an out of state resident to the Non-Resident Tuition Exemption as outlined by the Texas A&M University-Commerce Policy on Non-Resident Tuition Exemption for Competitive Scholarship Recipients.
