Key Women Educators of Hunt Co Beta Lambda Chapter of DKG

1. To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:
a. be a full-time student who graduated from a public high school in Hunt, Rains, Wood, or Hopkins counties,
b. be in good academic standing and enrolled in the Teacher Education Program.
2. Recipients must write a thank you note and attend a meeting of the sponsoring chapter when it meets on campus. Additionally, the recipient will agree that their photo, name, and hometown can be used in press releases / publicity related to the scholarship award.
3. The minimum scholarship award will be $1,000 divided equally between the fall and spring semesters.
4. It is the donor’s wish that scholarship recipients will become future public-school teachers in the Northeast Texas area.

  • Recipient’s name can be published as a scholarship recipient.
  • Failure to meet the requirements of this scholarship may cause scholarships to be revoked.
  • This scholarship may entitle an out of state resident to the Non-Resident Tuition Exemption as outlined by the Texas A&M University-Commerce Policy on Non-Resident Tuition Exemption for Competitive Scholarship Recipients.
