Mr. Ed Jones Music Scholarship

• The recipient must demonstrate academic ability by maintaining a 3.0 GPA.
• The recipient must be a Music major, or non-Music major that is participating in band.
• The recipient must be a Texas high school graduate. Incoming freshmen are encouraged to apply.
• All other criteria being met equally, preference shall be given to applicants that are low brass musicians, as evidenced by course enrollment, auditions, or department advising.
• All other criteria being met equally, preference shall be given to applicants that are from Coppell ISD or Grand Prairie ISD.
• Recipient’s name can be published as a scholarship recipient.
• Failure to meet the requirements of this scholarship may cause scholarships to be revoked.
• This scholarship may entitle an out of state resident to the Non-Resident Tuition Exemption as outlined by the Texas A&M University-Commerce Policy on Non-Resident Tuition Exemption for Competitive Scholarship Recipients.
