The recipient must demonstrate academic ability by maintaining a 3.0 GPA.
The recipient must be a Music major, or non-Music major that is participating in band.
The recipient must be a Texas high school graduate. Incoming freshmen are encouraged to apply.
All other criteria being met equally, preference shall be given to applicants that are low brass musicians, as evidenced by course enrollment, auditions, or department advising.
All other criteria being met equally, preference shall be given to applicants that are from Coppell ISD or Grand Prairie ISD.
Recipient’s name can be published as a scholarship recipient.
Failure to meet the requirements of this scholarship may cause scholarships to be revoked.
This scholarship may entitle an out of state resident to the Non-Resident Tuition Exemption as outlined by the Texas A&M University-Commerce Policy on Non-Resident Tuition Exemption for Competitive Scholarship Recipients.
