The scholarship(s) are intended to provide recognition and financial assistance to physics majors at Texas A&M University-Commerce.
Recipients will be selected based upon academic performance, dedication to the major and financial need.
The recipient(s) may use the money for tuition, books or other expenses while attending Texas A&M University-Commerce
Scholarships will be awarded to sophomore and junior physics majors who will continue to attend A&M-Commerce during the next academic year.
Successful applicants will have at least a 3.0 overall GPA and a 3.25 GPA in physics.
Students must: Enroll in at least 12 semester hours of A&M-Commerce. Enroll in at least 3 semester hours or physics at A&M-Commerce
The size and number of scholarships awarded in any given year will depend upon the number of worthy applicants and the amount available for scholarships. Awarding of any scholarships is not automatic. Minimum scholarship award – $500
Recipient’s name can be published as a scholarship recipient.
Failure to meet the requirements of this scholarship may cause scholarships to be revoked.
This scholarship may entitle an out of state resident to the Non-Resident Tuition Exemption as outlined by the Texas A&M University-Commerce Policy on Non-Resident Tuition Exemption for Competitive Scholarship Recipients.
