Dr. Roger & Mrs. Jean Arnold Agriculture Scholarship Endowment
The recipient must be an incoming or continuing undergraduate student majoring in Agriculture
Continuing students must demonstrate academic ability by maintaining a 2.75. In addition, the recipient must submit a 350-500 word essay sharing why they are majoring in agriculture and outlining his or her career plans.
Incoming students (freshman and/or transfer) must submit a 350-500 word essay sharing why they chose A&M Commerce, why they are majoring in Agriculture and outlining his or her career plans.
Preference shall be given to students working at the university farm, participating on a judging team, and/or majoring in agricultural education with a second preference of animal science.
Recipient’s name can be published as a scholarship recipient.
Failure to meet the requirements of this scholarship may cause scholarships to be revoked.
This scholarship may entitle an out of state resident to the Non-Resident Tuition Exemption as outlined by the Texas A&M University-Commerce Policy on Non-Resident Tuition Exemption for Competitive Scholarship Recipients.
