Davis-Edwards Endowment

1) A member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., preference given to first generation students.
2) Returning students with a minimum GPA of 3.0, or incoming transfer students with a minimum GPA of 3.25.
3) Demonstrated financial need.
4) Evidence of leadership.
5) The general application essay questions shall be used by the committee to aid in their final decision. Students who do not fill out the general application essay questions are not eligible to receive this scholarship.

• Recipient’s name can be published as a scholarship recipient.
• Failure to meet the requirements of this scholarship may cause scholarships to be revoked.
• This scholarship may entitle an out of state resident to the Non-Resident Tuition Exemption as outlined by the Texas A&M University-Commerce Policy on Non-Resident Tuition Exemption for Competitive Scholarship Recipients.
