~Greater Texas Foundation Endowment
- Recipients shall be undergraduate students with priority will be given to under-served, first generation, and low income students with limited financial resources.
- This Fund will provide one or more annual scholarships to be funded one-half at the beginning of the fall semester and the remaining one-half at the beginning of the spring semester.
- If a scholarship recipient does not return for the spring semester or is no longer eligible for the award, the undistributed portion of any award will be returned to the Fund or at the discretion of the university, awarded to any then eligible recipient.
- The Institution shall provide the Foundation with annual reports on the financial performance of the Fund and on the students selected to receive scholarships from this endowment. Reports should include the name, classification, major, mailing address and cumulative grade point ratio for each recipient.
To comply with FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act), students receiving these scholarships will provide a written release allowing the Institution to report their address and grade point ratio to the Foundation.
- Recipient’s name can be published as a scholarship recipient.
- Failure to meet the requirements of this scholarships may cause scholarship to be revoked.
- This scholarship may entitle an out of state resident to the Non-Resident Tuition Exemption as outlined by the Texas A&M University-Commerce Policy on Non-Resident Tuition Exemption for Competitive Scholarship Recipients.
