Dr. Mary Hendrix Scholarship Endowment

• Incoming undergraduate students from Commerce High School who have not been awarded Honors College or Regents Scholars Scholarships.
• Scholarship is renewable upon submission of updated application, meeting of eligibility requirements, and availability of funds.
• Must maintain a minimum 3.0 semester and institutional cumulative GPA
• Successfully enroll and complete a minimum of 15 credit hours each Fall/Spring semester or 30 credit hours each academic year
• Must have no break in enrollment or eligibility
• The general application essay questions shall be used by the committee to aid in their final decision. Students who do not fill out the general application essay questions are not eligible to receive this scholarship
• Recipient’s name can be published as a scholarship recipient.
• Failure to meet the requirements of this scholarship may cause scholarships to be revoked.
• This scholarship may entitle an out of state resident to the Non-Resident Tuition Exemption as outlined by the Texas A&M University-Commerce Policy on Non-Resident Tuition Exemption for Competitive Scholarship Recipients.
