Recipients should be classified as a junior, senior, or graduate student in the College of Humanities, Social Sciences & Arts when the scholarship is received. Due to the timing of the scholarship application cycle, sophomores are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
The recipient must demonstrate academic ability; preference given to single parents.
The scholarship must be distributed among at least 4 recipients
Recipient’s name can be published as a scholarship recipient.
Failure to meet the requirements of this scholarships may cause scholarship to be revoked.
This scholarship may entitle an out of state resident to the Non-Resident Tuition Exemption as outlined by the Texas A&M University-Commerce Policy on Non-Resident Tuition Exemption for Competitive Scholarship Recipients.
