Dr. Joanne Olivard Foundation Scholarship Endowment
Recipient must be a student who graduated from a Delta, Fannin or Lamar County high school or homeschool. The recipient must have attended school in one of these counties during their Junior and Senior years of high school.
The student must have completed 60 hours of college credits with preference given to a transfer student.
*Recipient must be a full-time student (12 hrs. for undergrad; 9 hrs. for graduate)
Recipient must have a declared major in one of the following fields: Agriculture, Science, Nursing, Engineering or Math. Teaching degrees or certifications do not qualify.
Recipient must maintain a 2.5 GPA in their declared major.
The scholarship award will be a minimum of $800.
Recipient must write a thank-you acknowledgment in appreciation for the scholarship award.
The scholarship is renewable; students must reapply each year and continue to meet eligibility requirements to be considered.
Recipient’s name can be published as a scholarship recipient.
Failure to meet the requirements of this scholarship may cause scholarships to be revoked.
This scholarship may entitle an out of state resident to the Non-Resident Tuition Exemption as outlined by the Texas A&M University-Commerce Policy on Non-Resident Tuition Exemption for Competitive Scholarship Recipients.
