Glenna Wade Siebenhausen Scholarship Endowment

  • The recipient shall be a graduate of a Hunt County high school, with preference given to Commerce & Quinlan graduates.
  • The recipient shall be pursuing a graduate degree or a Junior or Senior at Texas A&M University-Commerce and enrolled in the Teacher Education Program.
  • A GPA of 2.5 must be maintained in order to retain the scholarship for the next semester.
  • One student shall receive this scholarship with the total amount of the scholarship being not less than $2,000 (to be divided between the fall and spring semesters).
  • It is recommended the committee give consideration to the following: desire to enter the teaching profession, financial need, good academic performance, and participation in extracurricular activities in high school and/or at the university level.
  • Recipient’s name can be published as a scholarship recipient.
  • Failure to meet the requirements of this scholarship may cause scholarships to be revoked.
  • This scholarship may entitle an out of state resident to the Non-Resident Tuition Exemption as outlined by the Texas A&M University-Commerce Policy on Non-Resident Tuition Exemption for Competitive Scholarship Recipients.
