• Provide scholarships to full-time students majoring in Engineering or Computer Science (Since the departments are in the same college, the Dean makes the decision as to which has the greatest need. If the Dean is unable to make a timely decision, focus on Engineering). P
  Additional Applicant Requirements:
• Must be U.S. Citizen
• Student must be on Dean’s list
• Must have completed 12 hours in major courses completed.
• Must have a 3.5 in their major
• The fund shall provide one scholarship per year. There will be no restriction on the same students being awarded this scholarship again in subsequent years as long as the student remains in good standing with the University and applies for the scholarship in subsequent years.
  Recipient’s name can be published as a scholarship recipient.
  Failure to meet the requirements of this scholarship may cause scholarships to be revoked.
  This scholarship may entitle an out of state resident to the Non-Resident Tuition Exemption as outlined by the Texas A&M University-Commerce Policy on Non-Resident Tuition Exemption for Competitive Scholarship Recipients.
