Students enrolled in and matriculating at Texas A&M University-Commerce.
Students can be either undergraduate or graduate students, but must have successfully completed at least one semester during the regular academic year (fall or spring semester).
Scholarship is open to study in any country of East Asia (Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan or Mongolia), but preference will be extended to students desiring to study in Japan.
Student must have applied and been accepted into a program of study recognized by Texas A&M University-Commerce in one of the above countries.
Eligible programs include programs led by Texas A&M University-Commerce faculty; University-recognized third party program providers; or institutions with which Texas A&M University-Commerce has a formal agreement.
Recipient’s name can be published as a scholarship recipient.
Failure to meet the requirements of this scholarship may cause scholarships to be revoked.
This scholarship may entitle an out of state resident to the Non-Resident Tuition Exemption as outlined by the Texas A&M University-Commerce Policy on Non-Resident Tuition Exemption for Competitive Scholarship Recipients.
