John R. & Nelba Armstrong Business Endowment

  • Recipient of any scholarship provided by the fund shall be a full- or part-time student in good standing pursuing a degree from the College of Business (in accordance with University scholarship selection policies).
  • The recipient of this scholarship shall be classified as a junior or senior, undergraduate student, majoring in accounting, economics, finance or other business-related course of study.
  • Preference shall be given to a student who is either full or part-time and working while attending school.
  • Financial need shall not be a sole consideration, although a student who is motivated to complete their degree with a hard-working approach is important.
  • A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required for application and to maintain this scholarship.
  • Recipient’s name can be published as a scholarship recipient.
  • Failure to meet the requirements of this scholarship may cause scholarships to be revoked.
  • This scholarship may entitle an out of state resident to the Non-Resident Tuition Exemption as outlined by the Texas A&M University-Commerce Policy on Non-Resident Tuition Exemption for Competitive Scholarship Recipients.
