College of Business Banquet Scholarship

• Scholarship given to an outstanding undergraduate or graduate student majoring in some area of College of Business.
• The student must have a GPA of 3.0 or above
• Submit an essay 200-300 words (double spaced), and discuss: Why you deserve this scholarship. Your essay should discuss relevant qualities, experiences, leadership experiences and/or academic awards and achievements that qualify you for this scholarship.
• Recipient may be a full-time or part-time working student
• The scholarship is only available when funding is available in the direct scholarship account. The direct scholarship account funding is dependent upon proceeds from prior year’s COB banquet fundraising.
• Recipient’s name can be published as a scholarship recipient.
• Failure to meet the requirements of this scholarship may cause scholarships to be revoked.
• This scholarship may entitle an out of state resident to the Non-Resident Tuition Exemption as outlined by the Texas A&M University-Commerce Policy on Non-Resident Tuition Exemption for Competitive Scholarship Recipients.
