Dwight & Pamala York Agricultural Endowment

  • Recipient of the scholarship shall be a student with a major or minor in the Department of Agricultural Sciences.
  • Recipient may be any class level, including graduate students.
  • Scholarship shall be awarded annually for one year.
  • Prior recipients are eligible to reapply.
  • Student should have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or better.
  • Entering freshmen shall have a high school grade point equivalent to a 3.0.
  • Scholarship shall be a minimum of $500, with equal distribution of $250 for the fall and $250 spring semester.
  • Recipient’s name can be published as a scholarship recipient.
  • Failure to meet the requirements of this scholarship may cause scholarships to be revoked.
  • This scholarship may entitle an out of state resident to the Non-Resident Tuition Exemption as outlined by the Texas A&M University-Commerce Policy on Non-Resident Tuition Exemption for Competitive Scholarship Recipients.
