Founder's Master of Social Work Scholarship Endowment

  • Recipient must be fully admitted to the Master of Social Work program and have completed one full semester of graduate social work.
  • Family and individual income will not be a requirement for the scholarship; however, financial need may be considered as part of the application.
  • Must be enrolled full-time and in good standing with the University.
  • If the student does not remain enrolled or does not maintain the required GPA, then any remaining funds may be awarded to another student.
  • Scholarships shall be awarded annually for one year. Past recipients may not reapply.
  • Recipients are encouraged to send a thank you note.
  • Recipient’s name can be published as a scholarship recipient.
  • Failure to meet the requirements of this scholarship may cause scholarships to be revoked.
  • This scholarship may entitle an out of state resident to the Non-Resident Tuition Exemption as outlined by the Texas A&M University-Commerce Policy on Non-Resident Tuition Exemption for Competitive Scholarship Recipients.
