Psychology & Special Education Endowment

  • Interest earnings from this endowment shall be used to foster, support, and assist students actively pursuing a degree in either psychology or special education at the undergraduate or graduate level at Texas A&M University-Commerce. Graduate students may be seeking a graduate degree at either the master’s or doctorate level
  • Funds may be used for travel, research, presentation or publication expenses incurred to achieve their graduate education. Students will be required to provide original documentation of expenses, i.e., receipts, invoices, etc.
  • These funds are NOT to be used for graduate assistants or teaching assistants and shall NOT be used for the recruitment of students
  • The head of the Psychology & Special Education department and two full-time faculty members as designated by the department head shall oversee these funds and approve expenditures (i.e., scholarship committee).
  • Recipient’s name can be published as a scholarship recipient.
  • Failure to meet the requirements of this scholarship may cause scholarships to be revoked.
  • This scholarship may entitle an out of state resident to the Non-Resident Tuition Exemption as outlined by the Texas A&M University-Commerce Policy on Non-Resident Tuition Exemption for Competitive Scholarship Recipients.
