Grady and Adena Tice Endowment

Grady and Adena Tice met at East Texas State Teachers College and were married for 54 wonderful years. Both Grady and Adena were life-long educators- while Grady taught at ETSU as chairman of the Department of Education, Adena taught in a number of school districts over a 34-year span. Because Grady and Adena did not have any children of their own, they cooked, boarded, and financially supported many students. They enjoyed hosting and entertaining guests, square dancing, playing golf, traveling all over the United States and Europe, and spending time with their nieces and nephews. They were the cornerstone of their church, neighborhood and community in Commerce. Grady and Adena Tice always cared for others in need and will continue to make a difference in the lives of students forever through their scholarship endowment.
